Bessie Florence Wynne

Bessie Florence Wynne (nee Taylor) entered into rest March 9, 2012 in her 93rd year at Caressant Care nursing home in Lindsay, Ontario. Born in New Moston, Manchester, England December 28, 1919, she immigrated to Canada in 1965 with her husband and children. Predeceased by her parents Charles William Taylor and Bertha (Makinson), and her brothers Frank (Esther) and Fred (Iris) in England. Beloved wife of the late Philip Antony Wynne of Shropshire, England and shared 64 years together. Loving mother to Philip Wynne (Susan) of Etobicoke, Cheryll Tung (Kai) of Pickering, and Gareth Wynne (Susan) of Lindsay. Missed dearly by grandsons Kyle and Perry Tung of Toronto, and Adam and Jacob Wynne of Lindsay. Remembered dearly by her sister in law Sheila Corbett and niece Jane Corbett of Shropshire; nephew Peter Taylor (Joan) of Macclesfield; John Taylor (Norma) of Cantebury, Kent, and grand nieces, nephews, and cousins in England. A memorial service will be held Thursday March 15, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Parker Funeral Home in Lindsay. Reception to follow. Interment to follow at Dufferin Meadows Cemetery in Pickering. The family would like to extend their appreciation of the excellent care provided by the staff at Caressant Care, as well as Dr. Ready. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated. Sadly missed and always in our hearts.
