Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday, March 4, 2010 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Jean for 63 years. Loving Father of Sheila (Ed Komar), Valerie (Peter Kunzel), Keith (Cindy) and Roger (Francine). Cherished Granpa of Darryl (Shannon), Tricia (John), Doug (Jess), Carrie (Danny), Lauren, Michelle (Nick), Lisa (Michael), Derek, Brad and Jacob. Great Granpa of Liam. Bert will be missed by his family and friends. A private funeral service has taken place. Everyone is welcome to attend a reception on Sunday, March 7 from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Bob Rumball Foundation for the Deaf would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
