Audrey May Storey

Audrey May Storey (Osmond), of Manilla. Ontario
Born October 24, 1925, in Toronto, Ontario. Passed at the Ross Memorial Hospital October 18, 2021. Daughter of Alfred Ira Osmond, Jackson’s Cove, Newfoundland and Cora Mildred Osmond (Avery), Toronto, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband of 68 years Robert (April 2015) and son Ralph (April 2015). She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her daughter Linda (Les), Grandsons Ryan (Jessica) and Kyle (Shannon). She will be dearly missed by her nieces Dorothy and Shirley (Dave). Audrey was a city girl who worked for the GE Electric and the Scarborough Board of Education until she moved to the country side after she retired to start farming with her husband. What she was most proud of was her raising and caring for her family. Audrey was very grateful and thankful for the care she and her family received from Dr Peter Petrosoniak for more than 38 years. The family would like to thank the amazing
staff at Lakeland Assisted Living for their care and support over the last 6 years. They would also like to thank the nurses and caregivers of Caressant Care, McLaughlin, where Mom resided for the last four months. Last but not least, thank you to the Doctor and many nurses at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their kind and gentle care during Mom’s last few days.
No funeral service or memorial will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated and can be made; along with expressions of condolence, at www.lakelandfuneralcentre.com
