Passed away at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on November 5th, 2008 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Kaija for 43 years. Loving father of Juha of Vancouver, BC and Elisa (Scott Beatty) of Barrie, ON. Grandfather of Kaija-Alina. Brother of Arja Salonpuro of New Brunswick. Uncle of Jaana Smith her husband Jim and sons Ryan and Jordan. Cousin of Kalevi Aho and Marita Ebanks and her daughters Tasha, Tara, Tanya and Tamika. Art will be be missed by all his relatives and friends in Canada and Finland. There was a private family funeral service, followed by cremation.
