Anne Gilbert

Gilbert, Anne (nee Hale)

March 4, 1925 - February 5, 2021

Anne passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 5th at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Lindsay Ont., one month shy of her 96th birthday. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, came to Toronto at 4 years of age and met Stan her future husband that first year.

We remember and cherish her smile, her humour, her independent spirit, her faith, her generosity and her loving heart.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Stanley Charles Arthur Gilbert (1998). Survived by children Karen (John Pucci), and Gregg (Janet), her grandchildren Annette, Lisa, Jennifer, Lori, Robb, and Jonathan and eleven great grandchildren.

We thank the staff at Caressant Care, Mary St., Lindsay Ont. for their compassionate care and companionship over the last four years.

A Celebration of Anne's Life will take place at a later date.
