Anja Linnea Karppinen (nee Lindberg)

Passed away peacefully at Frost Manor in Lindsay, Ontario on February 22, 2026 with family by her side. Anja was the cherished wife of Raimo Karppinen. Beloved mother of Anne Schoeneman (the Late Don), Paul Gustafsson (Sandra), Elizabeth Gustafsson (the Late Phil), Markku Karppinen (Karen) & Mia Doner (David). Predeceased by her son Harri Gustafsson. Devoted grandmother of Jesse Walsh (Melissa), Adam Walsh (Sherri), Lane Karppinen-Ferris (Haley), Tristen Ferris & Ty Doner. Great grandmother of Ava Walsh, Ella Walsh, Emma Walsh, Mya Walsh, Bailey Walsh, Blayne Walsh, Phoenix Walsh & Deakon Walsh.

In keeping with Anja’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
