Anile Mary West (nee Sillanpää)

Passed away on November 26, 2023 with dignity and in peace at Ross Memorial Hospital with her loving children by her side. Predeceased by her parents Lauri Sillanpää and Mary Sillanpää (nee Lakka) of Finland. Survived by her sister Eila Kates of Toronto. Cherished by children Mary Brown (Wayne), Sharon Nixon (the Late Jim), Eileen Muir, George West, John West and Melody Nauta. Mom was fiercely proud of her 13 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Her family was her life.

As per Mom’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation and a private family gathering has taken place.

If so desired, memorial donations directed to Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
