Alroy Douglas Walton

With heavy hearts, the family of Alroy Douglas Walton announces he died peacefully on April 27, 2024 with family by his side. 

He is survived by his devoted daughter Nicole Vaccalluzzo (Luca), grandson Andrew Vaccalluzzo (Jasmine Schoug), mother Jelena Walton, sister Stellamaris Newlands (John), brother Desmond Walton, nieces & nephew in Canada and Australia, and sassy great granddog Ollie. He is predeceased by his father George Walton, and Nicole's mother, Joy Walton. 

Alroy found great pleasure in his volunteer work as a driver with Community Care, watching sports and spent as much of his free time as possible at driving ranges or golfing with his grandson. He will be missed for his kindness, generosity, witty sense of humour and being a loving father to Nicole.

His family would like to thank all the staff involved in his care at the Ross Memorial Hospital with special mention to the PCU nurses who provided such compassionate and dignified care.

Family and friends are invited to Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Wednesday, May 8 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Funeral Service to take place in the chapel on Thursday, May 9 at 10:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. A celebration of life will follow after the interment on May 9th at Kelsey's Restaurant, 330 Kent Street West, Lindsay.
