Leach, Albert J., in his 76th year, passed away peacefully at home Saturday July 14, 2018. Ab, a.k.a Honest Abe and Mr. Clean will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend of 51 years Jill, his daughters Cindy Plunkett (Ian), and Nicole Bihun (Chris), his son Mike Leach (Heather), and his mother and father in-law Sibyl and Peter Shepherd. He was proud granddad to Jared, Jaycee, Aidan, Hannah, and Ainsley.
Albert was an avid angler, hunter, and gardener. He drove race cars for many years, racing the modified #33 car with his family and later the #23 street stock for Roy Freeman. Albert loved his family and their get togethers above all things and his grandchildren each held a special place in his heart. In his retirement years he enjoyed his winter home in Florida and racing his #23 golf cart around Carriage Village to socialize. Albert will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Seven Pines Stables in Oakwood on Saturday July 21st from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and all are welcome to come share their stories to celebrate Ab's life.
