It is with much sadness, we share the news that Adrianus Struik has entered into glory, into the presence of his dear Lord and Savior, and to be reunited with the love of his life, Bella, following a short illness. He was surrounded by his family and his dearest friends, on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Adrian was born in Drenthe, Borger (Holland) on October 4, 1934. He was the most beloved husband of Isabella (predeceased in 2015), and loving father of Marilyn (Scott McLennan) of Port Perry, Gary (Karen) of Tottenham, and Tim (Renee) of Keswick, ON. Grandpa will always be remembered by his grandchildren Kaitlynn, Rebecca, Nathan, Keegan and Connor. Adrianus was one of 8 children born to Harm and Aaltje Struik in the Netherlands.  He was a loving brother to Gerrit (Aartje), Roelie (Gerard/John), Tinus (Loes), Albert (Millie), Gerrit Jan (Carol/ Maria), Henny (Jan) and Harry (Rita). Remembered by his many nieces and nephews, both in Canada and in the Netherlands. Friends and family are warmly welcomed to attend a Memorial Service, Saturday June 8, 2019 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 40 William St. N., Lindsay.  A brief visitation will be held at the church at 10:00 am with the service beginning at 11:00. A reception will follow. If desired, donations in memory of Adrian may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ross Memorial Hospital.
