Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday, June 17th, 2010 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Ray Thornton of Lindsay, for 69 years. Loving mother of Carol (Jim McGrath), Bud (Liz), Faith (Ralph Harrison), Wendy (Tony Payne), Raymond (Jean), Lucienna (Fred Sass), Michael (Joanna), Penny (Clayton Harnum), Robin (Diane), Mark (Heather), Fern (Terry Dunn) and Lance predeceased (Linda). Grandmother of 29 grandchildren, great grandmother of 50 great grandchildren and great great grandmother of 4 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Thursday, June 24th from 7:00 pm – 9:00pm. Funeral service to take place in the chapel on Friday, June 25th at 2:00 pm.
