Sylvia Wright

WRIGHT, Sylvia Wilfreda (nee Timm) – Entered into rest peacefully at Victoria Manor in Lindsay on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the age of 96 following her birthday on October 16, 2016.  Sylvia was the beloved wife (54 years) of the late Clarence Wright (January 2000) and devoted Mother to Carollyn (Michael) Wilkins and Lorraine Lang (Michael McGill) (the late William Lang) all of Lindsay.  She is sadly missed by her grandchildren Tony (Sandra) Wilkins and the late Timothy Wilkins (2014) and David Lang (Bridget), Lisa (Eric) Ash, Shawn and April Lang.  Sylvia is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 6 (+1 in December) great great grandchildren.  Sylvia is predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Lillian Timm and her sisters Mary Cordery, Marion Timm, Eileen (Harold) Kennedy, Pat (Ernie) Guppy and Ann (Oswald) Price.  Predeceased by her brother-in-law the late Charles White (Virginia) of Peterborough.  Our sincere thanks to the staff and doctors at Victoria Manor, Ross Memorial Hospital, PRHC and Dr. Mok of Peterborough for their wonderful care in the last couple of months.  A celebration of Sylvia’s life will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2016 starting at 10:30 and a Memorial Service at 11:30 at the LAKELAND FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay.
