Susan Virginia Ross Parish
On Thursday August 2, this pure soul entered peacefully into rest after living with early onset Alzheimer’s disease for the last ten years. Susan was the much loved wife, best friend and travel mate of Brian Parish of Lindsay. They had been a couple for over 50 years. She was the loving mother of Kim Blais (Dany) of Whitby and Devin MacDonald (David) of Buckhorn. She adored her grandchildren Nick, Grace and Brian. She was the dear sister of David Ross (Joan), and Ian Ross (Diana). Susan will be missed by her sister-in- law Diane Parish Archibald (Scott) along with many nephews, nieces and especially the friends who brought so much joy to her during the last several years. As per her wishes, Susan was cremated. There will be an informal celebration of her life at her home, 35 Broad Street in Lindsay, Saturday Sept.15 from 2-4 and Sunday Sept 16 from 2-4. Friends and relatives are welcome to drop in to meet and visit with her immediate family, and in your own way, remember Susan through photos, stories, music and her incredible art. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity close to your heart. Try to hug someone you love today and everyday.
