Robert (Bob) F. Waites
Passed away at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday, July 27th, 2014 at the age of 67. Bob is survived by his wife Debbie, daughter Kristy (Tannis) and family, in-laws Dot and Bill Reid, step-mom and sister Doreen and Leslie and his brother Rick. Bob’s dad Fred Waites and mother Roberta Heron are deceased. Sister and Brother in-laws Candie and Jim Hatzis. Bob retired July 1, 2000 from the Scarborough District School Board as Chief Caretaker at Agincourt Collegiate. Bob was a friend to many and he cherished all of the love and visits at home and in the hospital at the end. At his request, cremation is to be his final goodbye. Donations appreciated in his honour to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association (no flowers) or a charity of your choice. A ‘Thank-You’ to his many and favourite Para-Med nurse and PSW Alison and Kevin and all those in Palliative Care who contribute in easing Bob’s journey. We could not have gotten through this journey without the support and care from Dr. Naomi Ecob who is an outstanding family doctor and a true friend.
