Rita (Our Boma) September 23, 1925 – March 18, 2018

ROGGEMAN, Rita (nee Dierick) – Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 18th, 2018 in her 93rd year. Rita is the wife of the late Robert Roggeman; Loving Mother of Nic Roggeman (Laurie), Lola Hornibrook (Art) and Paul Roggeman (Judy); Cherished Grandmother of Peter, Thea, Michael, Taflyn, Elsbeth, Amanda, Sean and Kevin; Adored Great-Grandmother of Nico, Dorian, Rowan, Madison, Sophie, Harry, Ben, Anna, Lachlan and Finlay; And dear Sister of Rafael Dierick and Olga Wardenier. Rita is predeceased by her parents Achilles and Maria (nee DeBruyne) Dierick and her two brothers and sister. Rita will be lovingly remembered by all her family in Europe and sadly missed by all who knew her. Rita’s great love of family and friends, her uncensored honest opinions, her love of world events, politics, travel and, of course, her brilliant mind and memory will be cherished by all who knew her. In keeping with Rita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and Rita’s close friends are invited to a Celebration of Rita’s life at the Hornibrook residence , 83 Rodeo Drive, Cameron, ON, on Friday, April 6th, 2018 from 12:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M.
