It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Peter Angus and Loretta (née Sylvestre) Grant.  He is predeceased by his sister Gail, brothers Daniel and David, as well as his greatly missed daughter, Brenda. He will be missed by his only living sibling, Ann (Peter Draper).  He is grieved by his wife Madeleine (née Carroll), his children Debbie (John Plasa), Trina (Barry Grubb), Dawn (Bill Lockhart), Lisa, John (Ginette Bélisle), his 17 grand-children Andrew and Allison Plasa, Jennifer and Cory Markle, Holly and Jay Grubb, Shawna, William and Kenny Lockhart, Matthew Hodgson, Amanda, Danielle, Brandon, Carter and Cassidy Dickinson, Adam and Curtis Grant, and his 11 great-grand-children Ryder Robertson, Maiya, Leiah, Isabel Krynicki, Ethan and Owen Yuja, Peter, Rosie, and Arthur Sackley, Darius and Kylie Pierce. The family will receive family and friends at the Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, Ontario for a Memorial Reception on Saturday June 17th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada in memory of Peter are greatly appreciated.
