Appleton, Peter Jarrett “Happy” – Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Pamela Appleton (nee Fudge) for 36 years. Loving father of Peter Jr., Tom, Andy (Corrine), Jennifer (Carl) and Leah (Arley). Cherished grandfather of Jayson, Tyler, Brittany, Matthew, Megan, Josh, Andrew, Alyse, Amy, Adam, Elliot and Taylor. Proud great grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Ward (Evelyn) and the late John and the late Sue. Brother-in-law of Carol and David (Susan). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by Jennifer and Amelyah. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Reba Appleton. Friends will be received on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Lakeland Funeral and Cremation Centre (19 Moose Rd., Lindsay) from 12 -2 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. In memory of Peter, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
