Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care, McLaughlin Road, Lindsay on Thursday, May 17th, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Ken McArthur (Dec. 15, 2008). Loving mother of Shirley Kalkhourst and George Walker. Grandmother of Charles (Tracey) Walker, James (Miranda) Walker, Amanda (Scott Beetham), Sherri Kalkhourst, Bridgette Kalkhourst and Ed (Nicole) Kalkhourst. Great Grandmother of Wade, Carrigan, Kaiden, Mackenzie, Colten and Makayla. Muriel will be missed by her special best friend Jane. Many thanks for the support given by Major Miriam Stevens, The Salvation Army Citadel, Lindsay and the special care given by Caressant Care McLaughlin, Lindsay. Muriel’s family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Saturday, May 19th from 11:00 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
