Entered into rest peacefully at Caressant Care in Lindsay on Tuesday, October 28th, 2008 in her 92nd year. Marguerite Lynch was the beloved wife of Morgan O’Connell for 66 years. Dear mother of Lloyd (Marguerite) of Downeyville, Ruth of Peterborough, Carl of Lindsay, Marlene Perron of Pickering and Michael (Jackie) of Downeyville. Loving grandmother of Stephen, David (Amy), Christine, Laurie, Dan, Courtney, Carlene, Karen (Mike) Goodhand and Sheena Perron. Great grandmother of Lauren and Rachel Goodhand. Dear sister of Muriel Scollard, Lorna Lynch and Barbara Ford-Brown and sister-in-law of Marie Lynch and Madeleen Lynch. Previously deceased by her parents Howard Lynch and Eva Allen and siblings Willard, Frances (George) Jackett, Howard, Elsie (Glen) Brown, Greta (Russ) Williamson, Alan Lynch and brother-in-laws Clare Scollard and Bill Ford. Sadly missed by Clair and Margo Lucas and family. Family and friends will be received at Parker Funeral Home, 19 Moose Road (corner of McLaughlin and Moose Road) Lindsay on Thursday, October 30th, 2008 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, Downeyville on Friday, October 31st, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, October 30th at 7:00 pm.
