Retired Captain - Toronto Fire Department. Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 11th, 2010 at Lakeridge Health, Port Perry at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Mary of Little Britain. Loving father of Lindsay (Kim) of Oshawa, Craig (Nancy) of Beaverton and Frances (Jim Trotman) of Tampa, Florida. Grandfather of Lauren, Morgan, Blair, Jason, Madison, Paige and Reese. Survived by his sisters Sadie Chambers, Margaret Jones and brother James Cadenhead. Jack will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, friends, relatives and golf courses. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Monday, June 21st from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm. Comrades of Legion Branch #67 are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45 pm for service at 1:00 pm. Masonic Bretheren are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 1:00 pm for Masonic service at 1:15 pm. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to The Fire Fighters’ Cancer Research Fund for the Princess Margaret Hospital or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home. 705-324-1988.
