Passed away peacefully after a long illness at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday, July 24th, 2015 in his 81ndyear. Beloved husband of Gerrie for 56 years. Loving father of Ron and Doug of Bowmanville. Opa of Sarah, Easton and Keaton. Great Opa of Gage. Joe had many relatives in Holland. There will be a Celebration of Joe’s Life at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 125 Victoria Avenue North, Lindsay on Tuesday, July 28th with visiting from 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm. Reception to follow. If desired, in memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
