Ivy May "Vickie" Victoria (Newsom) Short

SHORT, Ivy May Victoria “Vickie” (nee Newsom) – Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Short (1987). Devoted mother of the late Bobby Short, Holly Hicks (the late Gary), Betty Jane Landry (Rob) and Roslyn Taylor (Gail). Cherished grandmother of Christine (Wes), Robert (Emily), Katie, Daniel (Kathleen), Leslie and Jamie (Sabrina) and great-grandmother of Brinn. Adored sister of John Newsom (Anne). In keeping with Vickie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Reception will be held at LAKELAND FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, on Sunday, November 6th, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.
