STASTNY, Ivan John
56, of Lindsay, Ontario, passed peacefully Sunday, May 26, 2019 after a short battle with cancer at Ross Memorial Hospital. Ivan was born to Marie and Ivan Stastny (Sr.) on October 6, 1962 in Brno, Czech Republic. Ivan worked at Oshawa Refrigeration Service Ltd for 18 years. He is fondly remembered as a devout Christian, a loving father and a wonderful musician. Ivan is survived by his 4 children: Erinn, Michael, Anthony and Joseph, as well as his mother Marie, and brother Peter along with wife Darlene and children. He will also be greatly missed by his step-brother Peter, as well as long time friend and ex-wife Grace, and long time partner Melinda. Service to be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, June 1st at St. Paul’s Church, 45 Russell St., Lindsay, Ontario. Reception to follow.
