Syme, Helen Bernice (nee Hawkey) –Passed away peacefully at Victoria Manor in Lindsay, ON on Monday, January 29, 2019 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of Robert James Syme. They were married on March 24, 1956 and enjoyed 63 years of marriage. Loving mother of Kathryn Sharon Lacaria (Bruno) and Dianne Elizabeth Klett (Ron). Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Jessica, Reno and Nicholas. Dear sister of the late Roy Hawkey (Connie) and Harold Hawkey (Bernice). Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Hawkey. A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date. In memory of Helen, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. Online Book of Condolence may be signed at www.lakelandfuneralcentre.com
