January 14, 1919 – February 3, 2014
Mom passed away on February 3rd, 2014 at Extendicare, Lindsay. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Haynes-Lipka (Julius Lipka) in BC and Beth Harrington (Bob Harrington) of Fenelon Falls; also by her stepbrother, John Cook and his wife, Mary, of Orillia. She was Grandma of Glenn Wright (Kimberly), Shannon Smithson (Deric), Miranda Warren (Mike) and Holly Warren (Bryan). Gwen was predeceased by her husband, Rodney Haynes (2006), her son, Neil Haynes (1982) and daughter, Janice Smithson (2002). Also predeceased are her sisters, Ruth Goldstone (2004) and Audrey Carter (1995). Cremation has taken place through Parker Funeral Home in Lindsay, ON. A family memorial is planned for a later date.
