Passed away in his 82nd year after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 15th, 2008 with his family at his bedside. Gus will be sadly missed by his loving wife Irene of 55 years, his daughter Maria, son David and girlfriend Mary, and his sister Rozika in Florida. Gus` family and friends will always remember him for his sharp wit, lively spirit and his interesting stories. Our sincere thanks to Dr. John Stewart our family physician and Dr. Peter Anderson as well as the nursing staff at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their kindness and support. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road (corner of McLaughlin and Moose Road), Lindsay on Thursday, December 18th from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow.
