Ruth & Tim & extended family. So sorry for your loss.

From: Silvana, Sidnee, Ross and Sofia

Our condolences. We are all saddened with the passing of Gord and Grampa. When I first met Gord many years ago, I had received a very warm and welcoming teddy bear hug - and a wet kiss! Reason I remember that warm embrace is because I received it every time I saw Gord and he mentioned the first time, if I remember anything about him, it'll be that wet kiss. I became very aware that Gord loved his family deeply. His pride and joy was the handsome young man I was dating. That ugly pig dog came in pretty close to first but it is evident that any canine member of the Lindsay family was treated like a member of the family. Sidnee, Ross and Sofia all have very special memories of their Grampa. They appreciated his innovative crafts, the fun they would have together in Lindsay, fishing, garage sales, Gord's sense of humor and the genuine love he showed each of them. We will all miss you Gord. Rest in Paradise. XOXOXOXO

Dear Ruth and Tim and Lindsay families, I will always remember Gord with a happy smile on his face. One of my favourite memories is when we came to Stampede in Calgary and Gord was full of the Calgary Stampede spirit with his cowboy hat, plaid shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots. So sorry for your loss, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending you all love and hugs. Darrell, Josephine, Anthony and Maygan McLauchlin

Dear Aunt Ruth, Tim & family; In ways big and small, Uncle Gord has changed our world. He has touched all our hearts and will never be forgotten. Tim and Family... I have not seen your Dad for a long time but I remember him from when we went to Queen Victoria School. We were never really close but always got along and spoke to each other over the years when we did cross paths. Over the last few years though we even may not have recognized each other. I liked your Dad. My condolences... Brian Parish
