Frederick Melvyn Beatty

BEATTY, Frederick Melvyn – With his loving wife next to him, Mel passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 in his 81st year. Mel, beloved husband and best friend for sixty years of Carol (nee Webb); devoted father of Mike (Joanne), Dave and Tim (Cheryl) and father-in-law of Carolyn; cherished grandfather of Jordan (Jacqueline), Shauna, Travis, Richard and Ryan; adored great-grandfather of Benjamin, Violet, James and Justice; dear brother of the late James (Anne) and Marilyn Lachance (Neal) and brother-in-law of Andrea Healey (Bob). Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Bernice (nee Fennell) Beatty. Mel will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, many nieces and nephews, friends and all who knew him. In keeping with Mel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Mel’s life at LAKELAND FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. with Eulogies at 3:00 P.M.
