Peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday April 3rd, 2019, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Doreen (nee Barnsley). Loving father of Nick (Mary), Patti Thurston (Len), Ted (Wendy), Bob (Shari) and the late Bonnie. Proud grandfather of Chris (Madeline), Clare-Francis, Melissa (Richard), Tammy (Jayson), Leighanne (Matthew), Dean (Krystal), Samantha (Steve) and Justin (Martine). Great-grandpa to 6 beautiful great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents, Nicholas and Catherine (nee Lamore), and siblings Elva, Helen, Eleanor, Wes and Willy. The family would like to thank Dr. Anderson and the Nurses of the Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care and Emergency Department for their exceptional care of Dad. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the LAKELAND FUNERAL AND CREMATION CENTRE, 19 Moose Rd. Lindsay on Tuesday April 9th, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Interment at Riverside Cemetery with reception to follow in the Lakeland Reception Centre.
