Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Monday, July 4th, 2011 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 50 years. Loving father of Faye Hutchinson and Derrick Patterson. Grandfather of Ashley and Darren Patterson. Survived by brothers Don Patterson and Jeffrey Patterson and sisters Roseanne Tully, Linda Caskey, Sheila Tully and Ruth Nicholson. Predeceased by brothers Gerald Patterson, Ross Patterson, Claude Patterson and Ken Patterson, sister Mary Jean Coulter and son-in-law Bruce Hutchinson. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road on Thursday, July 7th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and on Friday, July 8th from 11:00 am until time of service in the chapel at 12:00 pm. Reception to follow at The Moose Lodge, 10 Moose Road. Interment to follow at Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon.
