Sanderson, Edward Arthur (Ted)
December 31, 1924 – November 28, 2011
After a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Ted found peace on November 28th, 2011 at the Kawartha Lakes Extendicare, Lindsay in his 87th year. Ted Sanderson of Cannington is survived by Marilyn Sanderson, his cherished wife of 54 years. Loving brother of Robert (Isobel) of London & Jack (Barbara) of Midhurst. Beloved father of Douglas, Ted (Josanne), Catherine (Gordon), Nancy, Mark & Jack (Kim). Loved by all of his 15 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his many nieces & nephews. Ted will be sadly missed by his family & friends. Special thanks to the Kawartha Lakes Extendicare for their kind and extraordinary care. A celebration of Ted’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion (branch 186) on Peace St. in Cannington, Ontario on Sunday, December 11th, 2011 from 1- 4 p.m.. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Ted’s name would be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
