PATTE, Edith Rosalie
Edie passed away peacefully and on her own terms in the arms of her two daughters, on November 17th, 2018 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario. She was in her 91st year.
Edie was predeceased by her four sisters and two brothers. She was also predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Al (Alfred) Patte, in 2014.
She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Washbrook and Samara Navi. She is also survived by her son Alan Patte and her brother-in-law Truman Nash, as well as many loved and loving nieces and nephews.
Edie took much joy in her ‘best-ever’ five grandchildren: Jeff Washbrook (Courtney), Jenna Zack (Mike), Jordan Mandel (Laura), Ayla Mandel, and Taylor Navi, and in her seven great grandchildren, Brody and Cooper Washbrook, Makenna and Bennett Zack and Cadence, Callie and Scarlett Mandel.
We would like to thank Edie’s medical team, her oncologist Dr. Needa Jeyabalan, surgeon Dr. Jamie McNabb (who she often referred to as Dr. McDreamy – ‘nuff said there!) and family physician Dr. Hor Ven Zung. A special thanks to NP Julie Airth and to Dr. Brent MacMillan who were with Edie and her daughters at the end of her journey.

There will be a Celebration of Edie’s life at the Lakeland Funeral and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, Ontario on Sunday, December 9, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Come casual and bring your memories and stories.
