Entered into rest peacefully on Saturday, February 18th, 2012 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Beryl Thurston Locke (1990). Son of Walter and Laura Locke (both predeceased). Cherished Father of Don (Linda) of Smith Falls, Brian and Richard. Loving Brother of Marion Sandison (James) predeceased, John (Marg) of Lindsay, Bill (Carrol) of Rocky Mt. House, Alberta and Joe (Carol) of Blackstock. Brother in Law of Norma (John) Lewis of Oshawa and Father in law of Anita Locke. Doug will be missed by his Grandchildren, Sarah, Jason, Naomi, Hollie, Emily, Jennifer and Shelly and his ten Great Grandchildren. Doug will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Tuesday, February 21st from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls, Ontario on Wednesday, February 22nd at 2:30 pm.
