It is with sadness we announce the passing of Dan at his home in Cameron on Monday, December 2nd, 2013 in his 89th year. Dan was the beloved husband of Lillias (nee Wright) for 53 years. Predeceased by his parents George Wagg and Helena (nee Inman). Loving father of Eleanor Benson (Tom) of Woodville, David of Cameron, Fiona of Orillia, Iris of Oakwood and Darlene VanHalteran of Lindsay. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Joey, Landon, Kendra (predeceased), Ashley (Brandon), Travis, Erika, Amanda, Garret, Brandon and special Papa of Brittani. Brother of Anita McGillvray (Murray predeceased), Doreen Nesbitt (Edward predeceased) and Ronald (Ruby) (both predeceased). Remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Friday, December 6th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 15th at 2:00 pm at the Woodville Town Hall. In memorial donations to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy or the Alzheimer Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
