Passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015, at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Barb for 38 years. Loving father of Janice (Jason Kennedy), Nathan (Carrie) and Cody (fiance Hailey Warmerdam), all of Omemee. Adored Grandpa and Papa of Owen, Gracie and Myla. Loved son of the late Sammy Barley. Survived by his sister Reta and Bryan Boechler and brothers Ron and Bet Johnson, John and Ella Johnson and Mark Ellis. Dan will be sadly missed by all his brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, on Friday, September 4th, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 5th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to Station 2 Firefighters Association Omemee or the Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
