Veteran of the Korean War Royal Canadian Regiment
Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday November 5th, 2009 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of June. Loving father of the late James Bertram (Clare), Joanne Hansen (John) of Port Perry, Janet Graham (Jim) of California. Grandfather of Darryl, Sara, Darren, Kevin, Tommy and Jamie. Survived by sisters Amy, Dorothy and Norma predeceased by his brother John. Cliff will be sadly missed by all his relatives friends and comrades. The family received friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Monday, November 9th, 2009 from 1:00pm until time of memorial service at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Luncheon followed at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #67 Lindsay. Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #67 Lindsay and visiting comrades were asked to assemble at the funeral home on Monday November 9th, at 1:45pm. In memoriam donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
