Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Doris. Loving father of Elaine (Ed Arundell), Steven (Janet), Donald (Shelly), Susan (Hugh Banks) and Mark. Grandpa of Grant, Adam, Ashley, Tonya, Shawn, Erin, Casey and Jeremy. Great Grandpa of Logan, Anika, Anders, Hannah, Benjamin and Jaxon. Brother of Irene Clarke, Joyce Woolacott, Marion Lennox, Sharon Graham and Bonnie Fife (Ray). Brother-in-law of Carol West, Betty Byers and Gord Quibell. Predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Edna Lywood, brothers Gary and Eric, brother-in-laws Ross Clarke, Clare Woolacott, Don Lennox, Bob Graham, Bob Byers and sister-in-law Louann Quibell. Bruce was loved by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Saturday, March 24th from 12:00 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00pm.
