Passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 31 2018 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay surrounded by the love of his family.  Beloved husband of Lynne for 52 years.  Dear father of Louise (Martin Mayer) and Darryl (Cheryl).  Grandpa of Kyle (Carly), Brady and Marcus.  Never one to complain, he is now at peace after surviving “damn near everything!”  The family extends many heartfelt thanks to the countless wonderful staff and volunteers who helped with Barry’s care over the years.   As per Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Friends and family are invited to the LAKELAND FUNERAL AND CREMATION CENTRE 19 Moose Rd. Lindsay (705) 324-1988, on Tuesday, August 7th 2018 for a visitation from 6 p.m – 9 p.m and on Wednesday, August 8th 2018 from 11 a.m until time of Celebration of Life at 12 noon in the chapel.  Reception to follow.  In memory of Barry and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Community Care Hospice Services would be appreciated by the family.
