It is with sadness that on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 Annie (Nan) Cameron Fraser passed away at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. Nan was born January 27, 1925 in Glasgow, Scotland. She will be missed by her husband David (of 58 years), her five daughters and family, Anne (Alan Kumano) and their children Wayne, Lori and Riley, Moira (Phil) and their children David, Megan and Joshua, Irene Hoey and her son Christopher, Karen (Steve Bowen) and their son Mark, Alison (Tony Cogo) and their children T.J., Chelsea and Erica. No flowers please, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank Dr. M. Al-Malah, the nurses and Dr. Peter Anderson, Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital and also the people from Community Care. With a special mention to Jennifer Williams, Nan’s nurse who showed tenderness and caring above and beyond. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at the Ajax Legion, Hunt Street on Friday, September 9th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerfuneralhome.ca.
