McCarty, Allison Jane (Registered Nurse, Ret.)
Passed away in the arms of her daughter at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay Ontario, on Thursday July 29, 2010. Beloved wife of William (Bill) McCarty of Lindsay; loving mother of Cathie Hawery (Terry Teal); Michael McCarty (Sam McCarty); and Paul McCarty. Grandmother of Jodie Hood (Gerald), and Shane Hawery (Tara); T.J., Haylen, and Gray McCarty; Jake and Jeremy McCarty. Great Grandmother of Jaxson and Lauren Hood; Carter and Logan Hawery. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Jean McKay and Brothers Charles and Ron McKay. Allison will be sadly missed by all her relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 1 from 7-9 PM at Parker Funeral Home, 19 Moose Rd., Lindsay. Funeral service at Parker’s on Monday August 2 at 1 PM. Reception to follow. Internment Tuesday August 3 at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay at 11 AM. The family would like to sincerely thank Allison’s caregivers in palliative care at Ross Memorial Hospital, and a very special thank you to Doctor Stone. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care, in Allison's memory.
