Charles "Doug" Richardson

Passed away peacefully at Pinecrest Long Term Care on January 7th, 2024. He was the devoted husband of the Late Grace Richardson (nee Dwyer). Cherished father of Teri (Jim), Jude, Viki (Leon), the Late Janet - predeceased 2014 (Bob), Lynne (Trevor) & Colleen (Don). Grandfather of Cindy, Matthew, Alisha, Tucker, Nicole, Josh, Lauren, Samantha & Don. Great grandfather to Jocelyn, Jeralyn, Adeline & Wyatt. Predeceased by siblings Tom, Helen, Eleanor.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Pinecrest LTC and the staff that cared for him so wonderfully in his final years.

In accordance to Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Visitation from 1PM – 2PM with a Memorial service beginning at 2PM and a reception to follow at Lakeland Funeral Centre on January 25, 2024, on what would have been Doug’s 90th Birthday.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to Pinecrest Resident Activity Fund, Community Care (Kawartha Lakes), Alzheimer’s Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
