Dear Bob, Heather, and Mary Rose,

It was a joy to celebrate Bill’s life with you on Saturday, October 14. As you mentioned his virtues and cited things to corroborate these memories, I nodded in agreement.

Bill and I were introduced in a Bible study group, and I was happy to make his acquaintance.

When Walmart went out of business in Lindsay and Bill lost his job there, he got a job working at Target. When talking with him, he seemed to enjoy his jobs and being helpful, which is how you described him. When Target went out of business in Canada, Bill handed out red Target shopping bags; he gave me one, and I still have it. It is a memento I have of a very nice man.

I’m glad I got to meet and know Bill.

I missed my 1st grade class reunion (50th) in Lexington, KY to celebrate Bill’s life; it was important to me to honour Bill’s memory.

(Hugs) to you all during this very difficult time.

I had the joy of meeting Bill on Sunday mornings at Kawartha Community Church. Since my wife is pretty much housebound for health reasons, I would always be alone - Bill and I would share a table during the services and have many great discussions about various matters. I really missed him when he could no longer attend - his gentle manner and kind spirit will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

Dear Heather and Robert
I would like to offer my sincere condolences on the loss of your Brother/Brother in Law. Heather, I know we don't know each other, but while searching for a recent obituary, I happened to notice your Brothers'. I decided to read it wondering with such a common name, it might be someone I knew. That's when I saw Robert LeCraws' name. I have not seen him since we were kids, so I thought I'd send along a hello and how are you to him.
