WENDEL GEORGE “BOB” FOX
January 26th, 1931 – November 16th, 2015
Wendel  George “Bob” Fox passed away peacefully at home Nov 16, 2015. Beloved companion of Ellen Sharp for 47 years, father of Peter Fox (Nancy), Louise Fox and Wendel Shank and predeceased by his son David Fox.  Stepfather of Doug (Lori-Anne), Wayne (Cathie), Tom(Shelley), Terry(Andrea) and Bobby(Diann) Sharp. Bob was a huge believer in “mind over matter” having been trained in Concept Therapy in Texas during the late 60’s.  This training helped him overcome a difficult time while living in Keswick when he was badly injured in a fire as well as his last 9 months fighting cancer.  Bob was a lifelong welder and machinist who tried his hand at his own business named “WWWelding” in Port Perry for 5 years in the late70’s. In 1974 Bob and Ellen moved to Keswick where Bob continued his welding business and where he bought his pride and joy cedar strip Shephard boat that he enjoyed piloting throughout Lake Simcoe. In 1984 Bob and Ellen moved to Head lake where was known for welding and tinkering in his shop.  Bob was a generous soul, always available to neighbors and friends who stopped by to chat and have something fixed. We can all take a page from Bob’s daily mantra: “Its mind over matter….if you don’t mind, it don’t matter!”

A Special thank you goes out to CCAC and all the people who helped us through this time. Words alone cannot express how much you are appreciated. This world is a better place by your efforts and care. We thank all of those that were a part of Bob’s life. Donations can be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
