Ferguson, Vernon William “Vern”
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, November 28th, 2010 in his 73rd year after a two year battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Marie for 48 years. Proud father of Craig (Catherine) and Keri (Derek Landry). Extremely proud grandpa of Jack, Ewan and Annie. Loving brother of Don (Phyllis), Garry, Bob (Susan) and Brian (Barb). The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Wednesday, December 1st from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, December 2nd at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Reception to follow at the Moose Lodge, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers in memoriam donations to the Palliative Care Unit at Ross Memorial Hospital or Hospice Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
