Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, February 24th, 2013 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Connie Frew (1990). Loving father of Bob Frew and Laura Taggart (Darryl). Predeceased by son-in-law David Taggart. Grampa of Kaitlin (Bruce) and Jesse. Brother of Frank (Margaret), Audrey, Margaret, Bill Frew (deceased) his wife Judy (surviving), Doug (Faith) and Bruce (Heather). Special friend of Susan Harvey. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Hester Frew. Stan will be sadly missed by his many relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Friday, March 1st from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. There will be a celebration of life service in the chapel on Saturday, March 2nd at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to The Lung Association would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
