Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15th, 2012 at Victoria Manor, Lindsay. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Erma Shuel, his son Doug Shuel, daughter Jo-Ann DaPonte and his siblings Dorothy Pettigrew and brother James Shuel. Predeceased by his son Rob Shuel. His loss is also mourned by Jo-Ann’s children, Bob’s grandchildren, Christopher Thomas and Rita Frimpong and his many friends at Rivermill condos and Victoria Manor. Bob’s twinkling eyes, lively wit, keen intelligence and generous spirit will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched. Bob was always ready with a smile, a joke and a sincere interest in people’s lives. The family requests that no flowers be sent. In keeping with Bob’s generous concern for his community and humanity, please make a charitable donation to your choice of organization in his name.
