Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Norm Silver in his 86th year was the beloved husband of Audrey for 60 years. Loving and devoted father of Lola and her husband John Dettman of Lindsay, Karen and her husband Mike McBride of Belleville, Larry and his wife Helen of Lindsay and Paul and his partner Lynne of Kinmount. Cherished Grandpa of Jill (Chris), Marty (Zuzanna), Jennifer (Andrew), Melanie (Dan), Carrie, Adam (Krista), Robynne (Donnie), Mary (Adam), Jesse and Luke. Great Grandpa of Lily, Kate, Justin, Curtis, Cameron and Kaylynne. Norm will be sadly missed by all his relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Parker Funeral Home, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay. on Friday, February 29th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Saturday, March 1st from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, March 1st at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow at the Legion Branch #67, 12 York Street North, Lindsay. Spring Interment at Kinmount Cemetery. If desired, in memoriam donations to the Dialysis Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, PO Box 236, Lindsay, K9V 4S1. 705-324-1988. Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #441 Kinmount and #67 Lindsay and visiting comrades are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Saturday, March 1st for a service at 2:00 pm.
