I was one of Mike's latest students who recently upgraded for a seaplane rating in NB. I was just thinking of Mike today and reflecting on how fortunate I was to have met him and had him as my trainer. I enjoyed his instruction and the time he spent with me to make me a better pilot.
I hope this message reaches his family so that you would know, he is still missed. I remember him talking about his family and his love to fly. I'm sorry that I didn't know about his passing until after the funeral.
