McGill, Marlene 'Gail' (Griffis)
Entered into rest unexpectedly at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Sunday July 12, 2015. Gail, in her 71st year, leaves behind her children Mike (Christine) and Lisa (Brian). Also left behind is her sister Bonnie Collins, brother Bruce Griffis, brother in law, sister in law, aunt, nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends (near and far) and neighbours – all of whom she held close to heart. Sadly predeceased three months ago by her husband of 49 years – Garrie. They will celebrate their 50th together. Also predeceased by her parents Harry & Jean Griffis and brother Doug Griffis. Arrangements entrusted to the Parker Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. After cremation, a private family burial will take place. Sincere thanks to the staff at the Ross Memorial for treating Gail and her family with dignity and compassion during her last hours. Words cannot express how much she was loved or the extent to which she will be missed. If desired in memoriam donations to Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Gail’s memory would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home 705-324-1988.
