THOMAS, Margaret Anne (nee Lumsden)
Passed away in her 76th year after a long battle with cancer on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay with her beloved sister Liz by her side.  Margaret was the wife of the late John Thomas for 36 years and most recently the long time love of “Cal” Callebert.  Cherished mother of Julie Cass of Kitchener, much loved grandmother of Joe (Kay) and Samantha Thomas and dear godmother to Sheena Finlayson.  Greatly missed by sisters Liz Holmes (Ian), Kathryn Madsen and Nancy McMillan (Larry) and her very dear sister-in-law Blanche Langley (Joe).  Also missed by her “sister-cousins” Lynda Callaghan (Paul), Kathy Lumsden (Dan) and Karen Finlayson (Brian) and her many nieces and nephews.  If desired a memorial donation to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or a charity of your choosing would be appreciated. Family and friends are invited to Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Sunday, December 18 from 11:00 AM until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery, Toronto to take place at a later date.
